Mirror your iPhone to a Fire TV
Fire TV devices have no built-in way to receive an iPhone screen. Vistacast adds one: a free receiver app you install on the Fire TV, and an app on your iPhone that sends to it directly over your own Wi-Fi.

How to set it up
- Open the Amazon Appstore on your Fire TV and install Vistacast Receiver. It is free and has no ads.
- Install Vistacast on your iPhone from the App Store.
- Open the receiver on the Fire TV and Vistacast on the iPhone, both on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Pick your Fire TV from the list and tap Mirror screen.
There is no code to type, no account to create and no cable involved.

Requirement: A Fire TV device from 2015 or later, running Android 6.0 or above under the hood. The 2014 Fire TV Stick is too old and is not supported. Your iPhone needs iOS 15 or later, and both devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network.
Worth knowing first
- The receiver comes from the Amazon Appstore
- On Fire TV, install Vistacast Receiver from the Amazon Appstore rather than Google Play. It is the same app and it is free either way.
- Fire TV screensavers used to interrupt sessions
- The receiver holds the screen awake while a session is running, so the Fire TV screensaver will not cut your mirroring short.
- Guest and hotel Wi-Fi usually will not work
- Many guest networks isolate devices from each other, which stops the iPhone from ever seeing the Fire TV. This is a property of that network, not of the app.
