Before you pay
- What does the free tier actually limit?
- Only time. Every feature is available on the free tier. The ten minutes are cumulative across all sessions in a day and reset at local midnight. There is no watermark, no advertising and no reduced quality.
- Do I pay for the television app?
- No. Vistacast Receiver is free on Google Play and the Amazon Appstore, carries no advertising and has nothing to buy inside it. Only the iPhone side has a paid tier.
- How do I cancel a subscription?
- In your Apple ID settings, the same place as every other App Store subscription. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves the period you have already paid for intact. We never see your payment details; Apple handles all of it.
- Can I get a refund?
- Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's own policy, so a refund request goes to Apple rather than to us. The free tier exists precisely so you can find out whether Vistacast works on your television before paying anything.
- Is the lifetime option really one payment?
- Yes. It is a one-time purchase rather than a subscription, and it does not renew.
