Mirror your iPhone to a Google TV
Google TV can receive from Android phones, but not from an iPhone. Vistacast fills that gap with a free receiver app on the TV and a sender on your iPhone that talks to it directly across your own Wi-Fi.

How to set it up
- Open Google Play on your Google TV and install Vistacast Receiver. It is free and has no ads.
- Install Vistacast on your iPhone from the App Store.
- Open the receiver on the Google TV and Vistacast on the iPhone, both on the same Wi-Fi network.
- Pick your Google TV from the list and tap Mirror screen.

Requirement: A Google TV device running Android 6.0 or later, which covers every Google TV model. Your iPhone needs iOS 15 or later, and both devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network.
Worth knowing first
- A classic Chromecast will not work
- The older Chromecast dongles without Google TV cannot install apps at all, so there is nowhere to put the receiver. You need a Chromecast with Google TV or a television running it.
- Your TV may show up under its own name
- The receiver announces itself using the name your TV already has on the network, so look for that rather than for the word Vistacast.
- Casting and mirroring are not the same thing
- Vistacast sends a live copy of your whole screen, including anything you open while it runs. It is not sending a link for the TV to play on its own.
